About

My Goal

From Praxis to Policy is a blog written by Henry Schroppe that seeks to explore a variety of education policy issues ranging from tracking to school choice, and vouchers to pedagogical practices. While examining these issues, I hope to examine these issues critically and consider how support they current structures that allows for inequality to prevail in the world of education.

About Me

When I’m not writing blog posts, I spend my time competing as high school debater and fencer. Additonally, I’m a massive Denver Broncos Fan due to my older brother choosing them as his favorite team. My older brother was diagnosed with congenital hypotonia and Autism Spectrum Disorder when he was five. This inspired me to found the non-profit organization, Special Ed 101. It’s mission is to inform parents of special needs children about the resources their children are entitled to and connect them with volunteers, former educators and parents of children with special needs, to help them make the most informed decisions possible in regard to their child’s education.
